Washington, DC Alumni Chapter Wreaths Across America 2022

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the WAA mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.

Registration for this event is a two-step process. Please let us know your coming using the registration form below. Official registration with Wreaths Across America is also required to enter Arlington National Cemetery.  Please visit https://learn.wreathsacrossamerica.org/arlingtonvolunteer to register with Wreaths Across America.

After laying wreaths, join us for a social at Crystal City Sports Pub.

• Date: Saturday, December 17, 2022
• Time:
  • 7 a.m. - Meet group at Iwo Jima statue for a group photo
  • 8 a.m. - Ord and Weitzel Gate Check-In
  • 11:30 a.m. - Brunch at Crystal City Sports Pub
• Location:
  • Wreaths Across America - Arlington National Cemetery
  • Brunch - Crystal City Sports Pub, 529 23rd Street S, Arlington, VA 22202

Event Information:

• Our group will meet at the Iwo Jima statue for a group photo
• Be sure to wear your Mount gear so we recognize fellow Mounties
• Opening ceremony will begin at 8 a.m.
• All ages welcome to lay wreaths
• Parking will be limited - we encourage you to park elsewhere and walk
• Remember when you place a wreath, take time to honor the memory of that hero
