    SJCAA Scholarship Application

St. Joseph College Alumnae Scholarship 2024-2025

During the summer of 1809, a friendship was born in Emmitsburg, MD between St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Fr. John Dubois, S.S. That bond lives on, renewed and strengthened by their successors and by students and alumnae from St. Joseph College and Mount St. Mary’s University. Although St. Joseph College, an all-women’s college, closed its doors in 1973, the St. Joseph College Alumnae Association continues its mission as an anchor and a pivotal part of the 200 continuous years of education in Emmitsburg.

    Eligibility Requirements

The scholarship will be awarded to a rising or transfer junior who has a minimum GPA of a 3.0, who demonstrates financial need, and who provides a letter of recommendation from a faculty member form MSMU or from another accredited college or university. First preference will be given to a candidate who also has a relationship or meaningful connection with an alumna of St. Joseph College.
