Regilding of Mary Our Lady, bright as the sun…since 1964 our beautiful golden statue of Mary has been set above our beloved mountain home, overlooking pilgrims, students, and families with her motherly heart. While she once shone brightly atop the Pangborn Memorial Campanile, she is now in need of refurbishing. Thirty years of wear and weathering have dulled her bright façade. We need your help to have her fully restored in time for our annual May Crowning Ceremony. We’re confident you’ll want to be a part of this special endeavor.
We invite you to be a part of this noble effort, to support our beautiful Grotto and to thank her for her constant intercession and maternal care. As our University and National Shrine declare in our motto, our Mother Mary is, “Spes Nostra”, our Hope, we welcome you to join us in this hope-filled cause!!
The first 200 donors contributing $1,000 or more will be invited to our invitation-only rededication ceremony in May 2021.
